Certificates

The following certificates are issued by the ship mortgage registrar:

  • Certificate of registration
  • Certificate of non-encumbrance
  • Certificate of encumbrance
  • Certificate of deletion 
           
A specimen of these certificates can be downloaded by registered users (see Downloads > Certificates > Specimen of different certificates).
 
Copies of deeds and documents filed with the registry can also be obtained.
 
Certificates and copies have to be ordered in writing.
 
A request form can be downloaded by registered users (see Downloads > Forms > Form for ordering certificates).
 
A certificate or copy regarding a seagoing ship is only issued provided the registration fees and costs have been paid in advance (see FEES).
